Receive notifications when new files are uploaded and changed in your Kontainer; and when new comments are made on a file as part of your approval workflow. Read more on commenting and approving here.
Enable notifications
Notifications are available for the two user types that are linked to unique e-mail addresses:
- Administrators
- Normal users
Logged in as an administrator or normal user, click the profile icon in the bottom left corner and select edit profile.
In the profile settings, enable notify on new files and comments.
Select a frequency:
- Immediately
- Daily
- Weekly
Select source folders:
- All folders
- Selected folders
Notify others
As an admin user, you can also enable notifications for other normal users.
Go to Access → User access and choose a normal user by clicking on her name.
As described above, you can enable notifications for the normal user under their profile settings, selecting a frequency and source folders again.
E-mail notification
Once set up, you or the managed users will receive an email summarising the updates made to the selected folders.
Recipients can disable or change the notification frequency directly via the email they receive.
