Read more on commenting and approving <a href=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/de\/article\/dateien-kommentieren\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>here<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Enable notifications<\/h2>\n<p>Notifications are available for the two user types that are linked to unique e-mail addresses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Admin users<\/li>\n<li>Normal users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Logged in as an admin or normal user, click the <em>profile icon<\/em> in the bottom left corner and select <em>edit profile<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/notified-image-1.png\" alt=\"notified image 1\" width=\"800\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the profile settings, enable <em>notify on new files and comments<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Select if you want to be updated:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Immediately<\/li>\n<li>Daily<\/li>\n<li>Weekly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/notified-image-2.png\" alt=\"notified image 2\" width=\"800\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You will then receive an e-mail report with all changes and comment interactions that have been made \u2013 either right away or within the past 24h or the past week.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Notify others<\/h3>\n<p>As an admin user, you can also enable notifications for other normal users.<\/p>\n<p>Go to Access and choose a normal user by clicking on her name.<\/p>\n<p>As described above, you can enable notifications for the normal user and select a frequency for receiving notifications.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/notified-image-3.png\" alt=\"notified image 3\" width=\"800\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>E-mail notification<\/h2>\n<p>You will then receive an e-mail containing a summary of the updates made to your Kontainer.<\/p>\n<p>Recipients will also be able to disable or change the notification frequency directly via the e-mail they receive.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/notified-image-4.png\" alt=\"notified image 4\" width=\"800\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Receive notifications when new files are uploaded and changed in your Kontainer; and when new comments are made on a file as part of your approval workflow.
