The number indicates the amount of files in your temporary selection.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be able to share your temporary selection via the <strong>Share<\/strong> button in the upper-right corner.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Share_starred-selection-1.png\" alt=\"Sharing starred files in Kontainer DAM\" width=\"800\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"searchresults\">Search results<\/h3>\n<p>In Kontainer, you can search for, e.g., keywords, tags, filetypes, and you can use custom fields as individual filters and categories. Read more on the use of custom fields <a href=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/de\/article\/verschlagworten-filtern-suchen\/\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on <strong>Select all files<\/strong> just above your search results.<\/li>\n<li>And then click <strong>Share <\/strong>in the top right menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Share_Search-results-1.png\" alt=\"Sharing files in Kontainer DAM from a search result\" width=\"800\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and then click on <strong>Share<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Now that you have selected the assets, that you want to share, let us look at the different ways you can go about that.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"sharevialink\">Share via link<\/h2>\n<p>Generate a share link simply by clicking on the <strong>Share<\/strong> button as described for the different scenarios above.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Share_link.png\" alt=\"Share link generator in Kontainer\" width=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You will then see the window below, where you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>set an expiry date<\/li>\n<li>choose the visibility of custom fields\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/de\/article\/verschlagworten-filtern-suchen\/\">read more<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>choose the visibility of download templates\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/de\/article\/einfuehrung-in-downloadvorlagen\/\">read more<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>enable brand section (<a href=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/article\/add-a-brand-section\/\">read more<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>enable download notifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click on <strong>Get link<\/strong> to retrieve a share URL.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"shareviaemail\">Share via e-mail<\/h2>\n<p>Instead of manually sending this share link out, you can share the link by e-mail directly from your Kontainer.<\/p>\n<p>Again, click on the share button as described for the different scenarios above. Then, go to the tab \u201csend to e-mail\u201d and choose the settings just as in the link set-up, as described above.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, when sending a direct e-mail, you can select the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>the e-mail address<\/li>\n<li>mail header<\/li>\n<li>mail text body<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.kontainer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Share_email.png\" alt=\"Creating a share link to be sent by email in Kontainer\" width=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Internal sharing<\/h2>\n<p>Admins and users are given the relevant access and can also create internal links to be copied or sent by email.
