# Mount Webdav on Mac & Windows

Establish a WebDAV connection to access files in your Kontainer in the same way as from a local drive - i.e., either via *Finder* on Mac or *File Explorer* on Windows.

For mounting WebDAV connections on both Mac and Windows operating systems, **we recommend using Mountain Duck** as the preferred tool. Mountain Duck is a reliable, easy-to-use application that offers a fast and stable connection to Kontainer's WebDAV server and lets you access your files as if they were stored on your local drive.
